Dear Members,
I want to thank you for your participation and your support for the Sarasota World Affairs Council during the 2023-2024 Lecture Series season. Your generosity makes it possible for SWAC, a nonpolitical, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization, to present important events to the public each month of our season. Experienced featured speakers provide members and the public with access to valuable updated information on international issues.
Just once every two years during a twenty-four hour period the Community Foundation of Sarasota sponsors an opportunity called The Giving Challenge that allows donors to make a contribution between $25 and $100 that will be matched dollar for dollar! The Giving Challenge will take place between this year from noon on April 9 to noon on April 10.
The Sarasota World Affairs Council is asking for your help as it continues to strive for programming excellence. Please go on the Giving Challenge website: www.givingchallenge.org and follow the prompts. Please mark the date, noon April 9-noon April 10 on your calendar. We are counting on you!
We look forward to seeing you in October as we launch the SWAC 2024-2025 lecture series.
Many thanks,
Nat Colletta, President
